Intensive-Care Unit (I.C.U) Dept.     

This section is a very significant one compar­ing with the other government and private hospitals due to the fact that our I.C.U is equipped with the most modern materials and run by a specialists and technicians with high qualifications; the fact that made it compete with many hospitals in the Mid­dle East. It has been provided lately with ten beds (Imported from Switzerland). Each bed is connected with programmed air pump to flow intra- venous fluids spontaneously, and it could be controlled. from a distance by re­mote control. It is provided with a lung func­tion programmed device and monitors that check automatically blood pressure, body and room temperature, and Oxygen satura­tion. Those monitors, which fixed to those ten beds, are connected to a central com­puter that allows specialists control patients from one screen. It is notable to say that our hospital is now provided with central oxygen system, and thus says good- by to tradition cylinders.
